Cobblestone Streets, City Market

Cobblestone Streets, City Market

Monarch Stone International’s passion is natural stone and original, old cobblestone streets and both were found in beautiful Raleigh North Carolina! I was impressed by the combination of history and modernism shared in the architecture and landscape. Raleigh dates back well before 1788, when it was chosen as the state capital. Home to several prestigious university’s including North Carolina State, Duke, Wake, Shaw and Chapel Hill, Raleigh also offers plenty of culture in arts, theater and world-class museums as well as natural stone historic buildings and cobblestone streets!

Raleigh has a well planned urban and landscape environment, making it appealing on every level. It is known as the “City of Oaks” for its many beautiful trees which line the streets in the heart of the city. It is a vibrant downtown where the abundance of buildings and hardscape is soften by the green of landscape.
